I
have dedicated my life to following Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I
believe that God created the entire universe, the earth, the oceans, you, me, and even the little ant crawling up my leg (Genesis 1). God created these
things not because he had to, but because he wanted to. He wanted to
share His glory and love with His creation, us. He created us out of love.
Yet,
we are born evil (Psalm 51:5). Since we are evil, God sent his only Son,
Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins. He took the punishment of
the world upon himself because he loved his creation (Isaiah 53:5). Not
only did Jesus die for our sins, but he rose again from the dead conquering
death (John 20). Praise Jesus!
I
have chosen to believe in a God that pursues, loves, cares, disciplines and
encourages me by the second. I am a sinner at birth saved by the grace of
God and forgiven from my sins. As a human, my heart wanders and deceives
my mind and emotions (Jeremiah 17:9). Thankfully, Jesus knows me better
than I know myself and continues to save me (Psalm 139).
Since
I have decided to follow Jesus, my main mission in life is to glorify Him in
all that I do and to love others as Christ loves. While this decision
will be hard, I know the reward is eternal, glorious and a life spent with
Jesus Christ. If you have any questions, in need of a bible or options of

What
is the chief end of man?
Man's
chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.
